SHS Tigers come up short, falling 14-7 in Homecoming game

An enthusiastic and determined Stockton Tiger team took the field last Friday night for its Homecoming match-up with the undefeated Spearville Lancers. The Tigers, led by interim coaches Justin Basart and Clint Bedore, put up a very good fight, but came up short, falling 14-7.

SJH Lady Tigers win over Ellis and Trego

The Stockton Junior High Lady Tigers were in Ellis this Monday for a triangular with Trego and the host Lady Railers. The Stockton girls added a couple more wins to their record with the A Team defeating Ellis 25-19, 25-20, and downing Trego 25-14, 25-4.

TROY ROGERS AND CHLOE PLUMER were crowned king and queen in an unusual, but special, Homecoming ceremony held last Friday at Tiger Stadium. With the volleyball team, of which Chloe is a member, in “quarantine,” the proper COVID protocols were followed with the candidates keeping their 15’ distance.

SHS Lady Tigers fall to Trego & TMP

Last Tuesday the Stockton Lady Tigers competed in a triangular in Trego with TMP and the host Lady Eagles. Stockton fell in its first match to Trego 17-25, 12-25, and then lost to the Lady Monarchs 18-25, 10-25.

Junior High Tigers defeat Wilson

It was another successful afternoon and evening for the Stockton Junior High volleyball and football teams when they hosted Wilson last Thursday. In the A Team volleyball match, Stockton won decisively 25-10, 25-3.
