WITH COVID-19 REGULATIONS in place for the basketball season, SHS Spirit Squad members are cheering from the balcony instead of the gym floor.

It was a tough night for the Stockton Tiger basketball teams when they played the Trego Golden Eagles in Mid-Continent League basketball action in WaKeeney last Tuesday night.

In their first home game of the season last Friday, the Stockton Tigers hosted the TMP Monarchs. The Mid-Continent League contest between the two teams was won by the visitors in both the girls and boys games. The Lady Tigers fell 71-25, while the Tigers boys lost 68-45.

The Stockton Junior High Tigers fell to Russell in Mid-Continent Elementary League varsity boys basketball action last Thursday, December 17, by the score of 51-5. It was the final game of the season for the young Tigers.
