The Stockton Tiger Cross Country Team took advantage of a gorgeous day in Beloit last Thursday with all five runners setting season-best times. It was the first competition of the season that wasn’t run in 90+ temperatures, and it agreed with the Tiger harriers.
The Stockton Tigers hosted Hill City last Friday in Mid-Continent League and district football action, and were defeated 69-0. The Ringnecks scored on the opening possession of the game to take a 7-0 lead, and on the ensuing short kick, Stockton mishandled the ball and Hill City was able to recover.

The Stockton Junior High Volleyball girls came away with a sweep when they traveled to Damar to take on Logan/Palco last Thursday. The A Team won 17-25, 25-19, 25-13, the B Team won 25-15, 25-10, and the C Team won 25-12.
In last week’s volleyball action, the Stockton Lady Tigers picked up four wins, two at the quadrangular in Stockton on Tuesday, and two more in the Ellis Tournament on Saturday. The Lady Tigers’ record now stands at 6-18 on the season.
