County Commissioners hold a short but productive meeting

The Tuesday, January 28th regular meeting of the Rooks County Commission started off with two executive sessions to discuss attorney/client privileges with commissioners Jake Prockish, Tim Berland, Tracy Rudman, and county attorney Danielle Muir in attendance.

Two charges filed against Stockton man

Adam D. Toll, 40, Stockton, was charged Tuesday, January 14, in Rooks County District Court with two counts, one of which related to the seizure of drug paraphernalia from his home in Stockton on December 25, 2024.

Local Chamber holds Las Vegas-themed Gala

The first annual Stockton Area Chamber of Commerce Gala was held on Saturday, January 25th, at Reds Venue. The Las Vegas-themed night was filled with good food, awards, lots of fun, and connecting with other community businesses.
