In recent years there has been a steady decline in the attendance of the annual Stockton High School Alumni Banquet on Memorial Day Weekend. Many classes have opted to hold their own reunions.

TATE ALAN BECKER was the first baby born in 2022 at Rooks County Health Center. He was born on January 3, 2022, to his proud parents, Garrett and Kari Becker from Stockton. Tate has one brother and two sisters.

Last Week’s Weather: Last Sunday the mercury got up into the high 20s with mostly sunny skies. Monday was sunny with the high around 40 degrees.

The first order of business for the Stockton City Commission at its first meeting of the new year held on Tuesday, January 4th, was the Oath of Office given to Reesa Brown as she starts her new term as commissioner.

The Rooks County Commission held its first meeting of the new year on Tuesday, January 4th with commissioners John Ruder and Greg Balthazor present. Commissioner Tim Berland was absent from the meeting.
