It’s no surprise that the biggest increase in the County’s tax revenue for the 2021 year is in Oil with an increase of $599,143.13 for a total of $1,853,122.55. The 2020 total was $1,253,989.42. Real Estate also increased from the 2019 figure of $8,546,491.71 to $8,631,831.

The Kansas Highway Patrol is releasing its Thanksgiving Weekend Holiday Activity Report. The reporting period for the holiday ran from 6 p.m. on Wednesday, November 24 through 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, November 28.

Governor Laura Kelly has announced that total tax collections for November were $626.8 million. That is 3.1%, or $18.9 million, more than the estimate. Those collections are $70.1 million, or 12.6%, more than last November.
