Body 05 Dec 1912: Statistics show that Rooks county has produced in 1912, 2,760,608 bushels of wheat. Only four counties—Pratt, Reno, Kiowa and Ford—have produced more. In corn, Rooks has produced 1,536,575 bushels, and there are 44 counties that are ahead of her.

Body The regular monthly meeting of Crossroads Quilt Guild was held on Monday, November 21st, 2022 at Stitch and Chatter with 14 members and one guest present. Hostesses were Bertha McGann, Terrii Collins, Jennifer Guffey, and Terry Weis.

Body The Council of the City of Woodston met in the Council Chamber at the City Hall on Monday, November 14th, 2022 at 7:20 p.m. Council members present were Bill Dibble, Kate Terry and Thomas Yakish. Charles O’Neill was absent from the meeting.

Body A lot of people think that God has given them a tough life, whereas others are having an easy life. They may feel they suffer far more than others. But this is simply not the case.

Body At the annual Sigma Phi ESA Christmas Luncheon, which was held at Stockton City Hall on Sunday, December 4th, the raffle winners were announced at the end of the event. Winners were Shirlee Muir, who won a craft item; Karen Joslyn, who won the $50.
