April 12th, 1917: The County Commissioners made their selection for the courthouse site. The site selected were the nine lots in Block No. 5,just east of the Stockton Library. The lots were owned by P.B. Griebel, Newachuba Masonic Lodge 189 and Smith Hardware and Furniture company warehouse.

The Rooks County Conservation District had 147 students participate in the 2022 Rooks County Conservation District Poster Contest. It was down significantly from the 215 in 2022.

The Stockton school board members held an in-depth discussion about KSHSAA during a special school board meeting on Tuesday, January 31st. After the discussion, the board members voted to allow the administrators to explore League options for the District..
