'The Confusion over Christ' was the message title taken from John 7:4953. Different people will have their own picture of Jesus, but the real issue is: Does your version of Jesus match the biblical description of Jesus? A lot of people want a milder version of Jesus.

First Christian Church is a monthly supporter of Lakeview Christian Camp at Webster Lake. Each summer, the Camp hosts hundreds of young people from all over western Kansas seeking to grow in their relationship with God.

This school year, Plainville High School senior Addison Staab has participated in the PHS Pathways program, joining us at the library Monday through Thursday mornings. She has gained hands-on experience in all aspects of library work—from front desk and clerical tasks to leadership roles. Addison plans to attend Kansas State University this fall to major in marketing, and we are confident she will do amazing things.

The 2026-2027 Stockton High School Strider Dance Team has been announced! The ladies who will be performing at the halftime home games are Mia Odle, Serenity Carpenter, Meredith Gasper, Aidyen Kerr, and Jaylee Dunning.

The Plainville High School Cheer Squad has been announced for the 2026-2027 school year. They are are Aaleyah Becker, Calleigh Witt, Emma Gabel, Alayah Lair, Allissa McLaughlin, Maddy Dintino, Mackenzie Dixon, Savanah Slaubaugh, Finley Atchison, Eliza Rudman, Gabby McQueen, and Lillian Thummel with mascots Ellie Plante and Ransym Nussbaum.
