Nova Theatre CLOSED for Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve; FREE movie “Spirit: Untamed” on New Year’s Day!

There will be a government surplus commodities distribution on Monday, December 27th for those in the Stockton and Plainville areas. In Stockton, the distribution will be held on Monday, December 27th from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the VFW Hall.

The regular monthly meeting of the Rooks County Health Center Board of Directors will be held on Tuesday, December 28th at 6:00 p.m. in the hospital’s meeting room. The public is encouraged to attend.

The menus for the week beginning Monday, December 20, are as follows: Monday—Salisbury steak in gravy, mashed potatoes, California blend vegetables, bread, pears. Tuesday—Oven-baked chicken, coleslaw, pudding, bread, applesauce. Wednesday—Ground beef veggie soup, pudding, crackers, mandarin oranges.

Here is the schedule for Christmas Services and times at the area churches: Stockton Assembly of God 120 South Spruce Street Christmas Eve Service at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 24th; No Christmas Day Service; Regular Sunday Worship Service at 10:30 a.m.
