The Daily Grind announces new hours

The Daily Grind in Stockton has announced its new hours starting this Friday, October 1st. The new hours are as follows: Closed on Sunday and Monday; open from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; and open from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Adult Softball Tournament to be held Saturday, October 16th

The Stockton Recreation Commission will be hosting an Adult Softball Tournament on Saturday, October 16th in Stockton. The cost is $150.00 per team with registration due by Wednesday, October 13th. There will be a two-game guarantee using SRC Adult League/ USSSA rules. The teams made up of any combination of guys and gals must all be 18 years of age or older. There will be great concessions and a Home Run Derby.

There will be a government surplus commodities distribution on Monday, September 27th for those in the Stockton and Plainville areas. In Stockton, the distribution will be held on Monday, September 27th from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the VFW Hall. You are asked to please enter through the front door at 314 Main Street.
