Just a reminder that the Stockton Food Pantry is open next Thursday, January 20th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Remember that the Food Pantry is now at its new location at 602 Main Street in the building behind the Main Street Christian Church Parsonage.

Join Rooks County Health Center (RCH) for a free educational tour of an inflatable, walk-through pair of lungs. The largescale, interactive model of the human lungs is designed to help teach people about the risks, symptoms, nature and causes or various pulmo- nary diseases.

THE MEGA LUNGS will be on display during the Plainville home basketball game on Thursday, January 13th, beginning at 5:00 p.m. The public is invited to take a free tour of the exhibit.

The menus for the week beginning Monday, January 10th, are as follows: Monday—Swiss steak, rice, seasoned carrots, bread, strawberries. Tuesday—Harvest turkey soup, orange/pineapple salad, crackers, brownie. Wednesday—Goulash, mixed vegetables, bread, tropical fruit.

Library Storytime Program schedule for the new year

The Stockton Public Library will be hosting its Storytime Program with stories, crafts and more for all ages on Friday mornings at 10:00 a.m. starting this Friday, January 7th. The program schedule has fun themes lined up almost every Friday from January through the end of April.

Area Chamber of Commerce meeting next Tuesday, January 11th

The Stockton Area Chamber of Commerce will host its first membership meeting of 2022 on Tuesday, January 11th at the new Farm Bureau Insurance Office building. The rescheduled ribbon cutting for the facility will take place at 5:15 p.m. with the meeting to follow at 5:30 p.m.
