Body Plan now to exhibit your wheat at the Rooks County Free Fair Market Wheat Show. Exhibits must consist of a minimum of 20 pounds of combine run wheat and NO SHEAF! Entries will be accepted on Sunday, August 7th from 3:00 p.m.

Body It’s time to sign up for Stockton Recreation’s 3rd Annual 3-Person Scramble Golf Tournament. The event will be held on Saturday, July 23rd with registration to begin at 8:30 a.m. Tee time is set for 9:30 a.m. with the cost $45.00 per person.

Body The Stockton Recreation Commission is holding a new member promotion during the month of July! New members who sign up for a membership anytime in July will have their registration fee waived! The offer is valid from July 1st through July 31st. Check out stocktonrec.

Body The menus for the week beginning Monday, July 4th, are as follows: Monday—Closed for July 4th; Tuesday—Chicken strips with mashed potatoes and gravy, California blend vegetables, bread, blushing pears.

Body The regular monthly meeting of the Rooks County Health Center Board of Directors will be held on Tuesday, June 28th at 6:00 p.m. in the hospital’s meeting room.

Body Locally owned SB Construction (Stephen Bellerive) has teamed up with a company from Topeka (Martinek & Flynn) to assist with the overwhelming number of repairs needed in our community after the hailstorm on Sunday, June 5th.

Body There will be a government surplus commodities distribution on Monday, June 27th for those in the Stockton and Plainville areas. In Stockton, the distribution will be held on Monday, June 27th from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the VFW Hall.
