The regular monthly meeting of the Rooks County Health Center Board of Directors will be held on Tuesday, March 22nd at 6:00 p.m. in the hospital’s meeting room.

It’s time once again for the annual Solomon Valley Pheasants Forever Banquet. This eagerly-anticipated event will be held on Saturday, April 2nd at the St. Thomas Parish Center (804 Main Street) in Stockton, starting with the Social Hour at 5:00 p.m. The dinner will follow with many raffles, games, and live and silent auctions. And this year there will be chances available for over 30 guns!

The menus for the week beginning Monday, March 14, are as follows: Monday—Chicken fried chicken, hashbrown casserole, seasoned carrots, bread, mandarin oranges. Tuesday—Ham and beans, spinach salad, cornbread, rosy applesauce. Wednesday—Waikiki meatballs, rice, broccoli, bread, mixed fruit. Thursday— Smothered steak, mashed potatoes, corn, bread, pineapple upside down cake. Friday—Tuna noodle casserole, California blend vegetables, bread, hot cinnamon apple slices.

Just a reminder that the Stockton Food Pantry is open every third Thursday of the month from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The Food Pantry is located at 602 Main Street in the building behind the Main Street Christian Church Parsonage.

The Stockton Lions Club will host a fundraiser St. Patty’s Day Pancake Brunch at the Stockton City Hall this Sunday, March 13th. The event will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with the FREE WILL DONATION proceeds to go towards the Stockton High School Awards Banquet and Scholarships. See you there!

The public is invited to attend the Rooks County Storm Spotter Training to be held on Monday, March 14th. The event will be held at the First Christian Church (303 South Broadway in Plainville) starting at 6:30 p.m.
