The menus for the week beginning Monday, January 16, are as follows: Monday—Chicken strips, hashbrown casserole, catalina blend vegetables, bread, mixed fruit. Tuesday— Tater tot casserole, peas and carrots, bread, fruit cobbler.

Monday—No School. Tuesday—Cook’s choice, fruit, juice, milk.

Just a reminder that the Stockton Food Pantry is open every third Thursday of the month from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The Food Pantry is located at 602 Main Street in the building behind the Main Street Christian Church Parsonage.

The Rooks County Landfill rates increased as of January 1st, 2023. The rates are as follows: Minimum rate is $10.00; Municipal Waste is $40.00 a ton with a minimum weight of 500 pounds (under 500 pounds has a minimum charge of $10.00); and Construction Waste is $30.

With the observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, January 16th, the Stockton Sentinel is asking for early copy and ads to be turned in by Friday, January 13th.

The Nova Theatre Board is looking for a few managers for the facility. Managers sign up once a month and oversee the theatre operations, which includes running the ticket booth and counting the money from the ticket sales and concession stand for that evening.
