The October 6th Sentinel will include our annual Homecoming Feature, with individual pictures of the Tiger athletes (football, volleyball and cross country), coaching staff, Cheer and Dance, sponsored by local merchants, organizations, and individuals. For the second week in a row, Rooks County State Fishing Lake in under an active “Warning” Advisory for Blue-Green Algae. The latest advisories were released Friday afternoon, September 9, from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) and the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks (KDWP).

Come on down to the 4th annual Stockton Rodders, Inc. Fundraiser, Dinner, Auction and Dance at the St. Thomas Parish Center (722 Main) in Stockton this Saturday, September 10th. The event, which is open to the public, is being held to raise money to benefit local students attending vo-tech school through their scholarship fund.

The Stockton High School FCCLA is once again putting together a cookbook. The last FCCLA cookbook, back in 2010, was a huge hit.
