The public is invited to attend the Rooks County Storm Spotter Training on Tuesday, March 7th. The event is at Stockton City Hall (115 South Walnut) at 6:30 p.m.

The Stockton Farmers Union Mercantile & Shipping Association’s Annual Expo (323 South Cedar) is Thursday, March 2nd, and Friday, March 3rd. The event will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Cookies will be served on both days.

Come one, come all to Bingo Night at the Stockton City Hall (115 South Walnut)! The event is this Saturday, March 4th, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Sisters in Christ: The Stockton Church of Restoration (204 North Elm Street) wishes to invite you all to an empowering and uplifting event. The 2023 Women’s Retreat will be on Friday, March 3rd, and Saturday, March 4th.

Kansas Severe Weather Awareness Week is March 6th through March 10th. So take this coming week to refresh yourself on what to do about hazards like tornadoes, damaging winds, large hail, and flash flooding, all of which inevitably impact Kansas yearly.

The menus for the week beginning Monday, February 27, are as follows: Monday—Chicken strips, mashed potatoes and gravy, California blend vegetables, bread, peaches. Tuesday—Chili, cinnamon roll, crackers, strawberries and bananas.

The regular monthly meeting of the Rooks County Health Center Board of Directors will be held on Tuesday, February 28th, at 6:00 p.m. in the hospital’s meeting room. The public is encouraged to attend.
