The McKenna Theatre in Palco will have an early showtime for the opening weekend of “Star Wars: Mandalorian & Grogu” on Thursday, May 21st at 2:00 p.m. Admission is $5.00 apiece.

Get ready for some fun in the sun! The Stockton Swimming Pool will officially open for the season on Monday, May 25th, at 1:00 p.m., weather permitting. The daily hours will be from 1:00 p.m.

Community members and businesses are invited to take part in a special signature ad recognizing Rooks County Health Center for being named one of the Top 20 Critical Access Hospitals in the United States. The ad will appear in a special RCH section in the June 4, 2026 edition of the Sentinel- Times.

There will be a government surplus commodities distribution on Monday, May 18th in Stockton. The distribution will be held from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.

The Stockton Food Pantry will be open next Thursday, May 21st from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

The menus for the Senior Centers in Rooks County for the week beginning Monday, May 18, are as follows: Monday—Hamburger patty with lettuce, tomato, and onion, pasta salad with veggies, bun, applesauce. Tuesday— Spanish rice, corn, watermelon, no-bake cookie.
