Stockton community invited to Strategic Doing meeting on Wednesday, July 8th
The Heartland Community Foundation invites all interested citizens and community leaders to a Strategic Doing meeting on Wednesday, July 8, at 5:30 p.m. at the Stockton City Hall.
This collaborative meeting is part of an ongoing effort to bring community members together to address local opportunities and challenges through the Strategic Doing process—a guided method that helps groups form actionoriented collaborations, identify practical outcomes, and build momentum through measurable steps.
“This is a great opportunity to bring an idea—big or small—to the community and start making it happen,” said Deanna Hammerschmidt, Rooks County Director of the Heartland Community Foundation. “If you don’t have a passion for something currently, come to the meeting; there might be something you can help with or learn more about.”
Participation in Strategic Doing is also part of the Foundation’s broader commitment to the Dane G. Hansen Foundation, which has encouraged counties to think longterm and collaboratively by offering additional grant opportunities to those who actively engage in this process.
“Strategic Doing is about more than ideas— it’s about action,” Hammerschmidt said. “We’re asking our neighbors in Stockton to join us at the table and be part of the conversation and the solutions.”
No RSVP is required. Refreshments will be provided. All are welcome. For more information, contact the Heartland Community Foundation at (785) 6885098 or visit www.heartlandcf.org.
