Body Hunter to be back in town!.

HUNTER TOWNLEY OF LINCOLN will be among the flat track motorcycle racers who will be competing on Rooks County’s half-mile oval this Friday and Saturday.The 12-year-old, shown racing in Oberlin, has had a successful season on the track, either winning or placing in the top three in most of his races. Hunter just recently added a 450R Honda to his fleet, and already picked up a win on the new bike. Attend the races at the Rooks County Free Fair and cheer him on! Photo Courtesy of James Briery

Body The Plainville Cardinals K-18 Softball Team capped off a very successful season by winning the 4th annual K-18 Softball State Tournament held the weekend of July 15 and 16 in Lucas.

Body The Stockton Tiger Sharks Swim Team traveled to Oxford, Neb. on Saturday, July 15, for the Championship Swim Meet for the Tsunami League.

Body With the flat track races in WaKeeney now in the books, only eight more nights of racing remain to complete the I70 Kansas Fair Series for 2023. This year marks the inaugural season of this historic series being promoted under the Xtreem Flat Track Series umbrella.
