The annual dove-hunting season in Kansas begins this Friday, September 1st and runs until November 29th.The daily bag limit of 15 applies to mourning and whitewinged doves, single species or in combination.

The Stockton Lady Tigers opened the volleyball season last Friday with dominating wins over their opponents. After a somewhat sluggish start in the first match against Thunder Ridge, the Stockton girls took care of business, defeating the Lady Longhorns, 25-15, 25-9.

The 2023-2024 bowling season at 183 Lanes is ready to start. Leagues will begin on Wednesday, September 6th.

A double-elimination Sand Volleyball Tournament will be held this Sunday, September 3rd, at the Logan Golf Course on HWY 9. This event is in conjunction with the 45th Annual Labor Day Celebration.
