The Stockton Lady Tigers made a good showing at the Kaser Relays last Friday in Osborne, placing fourth as a team with 45 points. Top placers were Ava Dix and the 4x100 Meter Relay.

The Stockton Tiger Track Team was in Plainville last Tuesday for the Plainville Invitational track meet. Ten teams competed in the meet with the Tiger girls finishing in sixth place with 45 points.

For the first time this season, the RoCo Softball Team was swept in a doubleheader, losing to Spearville last Monday 13-7 and 16-1. In both contests, RoCo struggled to put points on the scoreboard early, while allowing Spearville to get runs in.

Stockton hosted the Stockton Invitational track meet last Tuesday afternoon at Tiger Stadium with Hoxie, Lakeside, Natoma, Osborne, Palco and the host Tigers participating. Sophomore Ava Dix, who won the 100M, 200M and Long Jump, helped lead the Lady Tigers to a third-place finish in the meet.

The RoCo Softball girls got another walk-off win when they came from behind to defeat visiting Sylvan-Lucas 4-3 in the first game of the doubleheader held last Thursday in Plainville. RoCo trailed 2-0 going into the bottom of the third before the Cardinals got on the scoreboard.

Last Tuesday Stockton Junior High hosted its invitational track meet with Logan, Osborne, Palco, Paradise-Natoma, Victoria and the host Tigers competing. Stockton’s eighthgrade boys’ team scored 77 points en route to a.

On Thursday, April 6, the Tiger Golf Team traveled to WaKeeney for the Trego JV Invitational held at Big Creek Golf Course. Stockton finished in fifth place with a score of 213. Western Plains won the tourney, shooting a 197.

Tiger golfers Hayden Hilbrink and Emerson Lowry each earned themselves a medal at the Hill City JV 2023 golf tournament held last Friday at Prairie Trails golf course. Hilbrink finished in fourth place after shooting a 52, while Lowry tied for 12th with a 58. Donavon Gosa was the only other competitor from Stockton. He tied for 29th after recording a 66.
