Stockton hosted the Stockton Invitational track meet last Tuesday afternoon at Tiger Stadium with Hoxie, Lakeside, Natoma, Osborne, Palco and the host Tigers participating. Sophomore Ava Dix, who won the 100M, 200M and Long Jump, helped lead the Lady Tigers to a third-place finish in the meet.

The RoCo Softball girls got another walk-off win when they came from behind to defeat visiting Sylvan-Lucas 4-3 in the first game of the doubleheader held last Thursday in Plainville. RoCo trailed 2-0 going into the bottom of the third before the Cardinals got on the scoreboard.

On Thursday, April 6, the Tiger Golf Team traveled to WaKeeney for the Trego JV Invitational held at Big Creek Golf Course. Stockton finished in fifth place with a score of 213. Western Plains won the tourney, shooting a 197.

Tiger golfers Hayden Hilbrink and Emerson Lowry each earned themselves a medal at the Hill City JV 2023 golf tournament held last Friday at Prairie Trails golf course. Hilbrink finished in fourth place after shooting a 52, while Lowry tied for 12th with a 58.

Sixth grader Brooklyn Couse began her junior high track season with two wins, earning a gold medals in the 100M Hurdles and 200M Hurdles in the seventh-grade girls division of the Smith Center Junior High Track Meet held on Thursday, April 6.

Last Thursday the RoCo Softball Girls hosted the Ellis Lady Railroaders in a doubleheader with the RoCo girls splitting with the visitors. In the first game, RoCo won in exciting, come-from-behind fashion by the score of 18-17, but the local girls fell in game two 22-7.
