Body The Stockton High School Track Squad will be on the road to Hoxie this Thursday for its first competition of the season. The meet is scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m.

Body This Thursday the Stockton Junior High Track Team will open its 2023 season when they travel to Smith Center for the meet which is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. Coaches Jen Kesler, Paige Baird, Laura Moffet and Alexa Rogers have 22 boys and 17 girls on their 39-person roster.

Body The RoCo Softball girls opened the 2023 season last Tuesday with a doubleheader win against the visiting Russell Broncos. RoCo captured the first game with an 18-11 victory, then came back to win game two 21-15.

Body Rylan Basart, a redshirt freshman at the University of Nebraska-Kearney and a specialist on the UNK football team, kicked off his spring track season with a third-place finish in the Javelin at the Emporia State Relays.

Body The 2023-2024 SHS Cheerleaders are Claire Plumer, Ava Dix, Ella Snyder, Bodye Stithem, Karleigh Horn, Saj Snyder, Tempe Northup, and Shae Yohon. Congratulations to the team! Kevin and Jyl Unrein of Chanute were guests in the home of Susan Schneider from March 17-19.

Body The Tiger Ambush Powerlifting Team performed well at the Trego Golden Eagle Powerlifting Meet held last Saturday in WaKeeney. A total of 25 teams, consisting of 270 athletes, competed at the event.
