The Stockton High School girls wrestling team turned in a solid showing at the Panther Classic, finishing eighth in the 17-team field with 67.5 points. Norton captured the team title with 125 points, followed closely by Minneapolis with 120 and St.

The Plainville High School girls wrestling team competed at the Panther Classic held Friday in Phillipsburg, with Lillian Garcia capturing an individual championship and several Lady Cardinals gaining valuable experience against a competitive field.

Fourteen was the magic number at the District Knights of Columbus Free Throw Contest held in Plainville on Sunday, February 1st. Six winners shot 14 free throws out of 25 each to win in their age groups for the privilege of representing St.

The Stockton Tigers junior varsity boys basketball team hosted the Lincoln Leopards last Tuesday, but fell 58–33 in the contest. Lincoln took control early, building an 11–4 lead by the end of the first quarter.

The Logan/Palco boys basketball team split its games last week in the Western Kansas Liberty League Tournament, earning a decisive 72–27 victory over Triplains/ Brewster on Friday before falling to Northern Valley 45–35 in a competitive matchup.

Last Friday night, the 1981 2A State Champion Stockton Tigers basketball team was recognized at halftime of the Stockton Tigers vs. Pike Valley basketball game.
