Body It’s time for the annual Spring Shootout Demo Derby set for this Saturday, April 30th at the Rooks County Fairgrounds! The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. with the pit gates to open at 4:30 p.m.

Body It’s time to do your spring cleaning! A city-wide cleanup (city limits only) will be held during the week of May 2nd through May 6th.

Body The Stockton Grade School music program will be held next Tuesday, April 26th. The students have been working hard and will present musicals as a class. Most of the students have speaking parts and each musical featuring several songs.

Body There will be a government surplus commodities distribution on Monday, April 25th for those in the Stockton and Plainville areas. In Stockton, the distribution will be held on Monday, April 25th from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the VFW Hall.

Body The menus for the week beginning Monday, April 25, are as follows: Monday—Chicken strips, hashbrown casserole, winter blend vegetables, bread, applesauce. Tuesday—Ham and beans, spinach salad, cornbread, acini de pepe.
