Body What is your vision for Stockton in 20 years? If you have ideas and suggestions, all are invited and welcome to the Heartland Community Foundation and the City of Stockton’s Stockton Town Hall Strategic Doing event on Tuesday, March 29th. The event will be held from 5:30 p.m.

Body The St. Thomas Knights of Columbus will be hosting a Freewill Offering Fish Fry this Friday, March 25th starting at 5:00 p.m.

Body There will be a government surplus commodities distribution on Monday, March 28th for those in the Stockton and Plainville areas. In Stockton, the distribution will be held on Monday, March 28th from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the VFW Hall.

Body The menus for the week beginning Monday, March 21, are as follows: Monday—Chicken strips mashed potatoes and gravy, peas and carrots, bread, rosy pears. Tuesday—Ground beef vegetable soup, cookie, crackers, ambrosia fruit salad.

Body Week of March 21 Breakfast Monday—Waffle and sausage links, fruit, juice, milk. Tuesday—Parfait, fruit, juice, milk.

Body The regular monthly meeting of the Rooks County Health Center Board of Directors will be held on Tuesday, March 22nd at 6:00 p.m. in the hospital’s meeting room.

Body It’s time once again for the annual Solomon Valley Pheasants Forever Banquet. This eagerly-anticipated event will be held on Saturday, April 2nd at the St. Thomas Parish Center (804 Main Street) in Stockton, starting with the Social Hour at 5:00 p.m.

Body The menus for the week beginning Monday, March 14, are as follows: Monday—Chicken fried chicken, hashbrown casserole, seasoned carrots, bread, mandarin oranges. Tuesday—Ham and beans, spinach salad, cornbread, rosy applesauce.

Body Just a reminder that the Stockton Food Pantry is open every third Thursday of the month from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The Food Pantry is located at 602 Main Street in the building behind the Main Street Christian Church Parsonage.
