Just a reminder that the Stockton Food Pantry is open every third Thursday of the month from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The Food Pantry is located at 602 Main Street in the building behind the Main Street Christian Church Parsonage.

Week of April 11 Breakfast Monday—French toast sticks, fruit, juice, milk. Tuesday—Closed.

On Tuesday, April 12th, Stockton will be hosting two track meets at Tiger Stadium. At 10:00 a.m. the junior high meet will get underway, with the high school track meet to follow at 3:00 p.m. Get out and spend the day supporting the Tiger athletes!

The menus for the week beginning Monday, April 11, are as follows: Monday—Polish sausage with kraut, mashed potatoes, peas, bread, mixed fruit. Tuesday—Ground beef vegetable soup, pudding, crackers, strawberries. Wednesday—Turkey tetrazzini, broccoli, bread, fruit cobbler. Thursday— Liver and onions in gravy, mashed potatoes, aspragus, bread, rosy applesauce. Friday—Baked fish, macaroni and cheese, mixed vegetables, bread, ambrosia salad.

Week of April 4th Breakfast Monday—Parfait, fruit, juice, milk. Tuesday—Mini bagels, fruit, juice, milk.

The menus for the week beginning Monday, April 4, are as follows: Monday—Swiss steak with tomatoes, rice, peas and carrots, bread, peaches. Tuesday—Chicken noodle soup, tossed salad, crackers, mandarin oranges. Wednesday—Sloppy joe, tater tots, green beans, bun, applesauce. Thursday—Chicken enchilada casserole, mexicali corn, bread, hot cinnamon pears. Friday—Chef salad (meat on the side), bar cookie, crackers, pineapple.

The Nova Theatre in Stockton is changing to its SUMMER MOVIE HOURS this weekend, April 1st. The movie times will remain the same on Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:00 p.m. with the change being made on Sundays from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., so that everyone can enjoy those lazy summer Sunday afternoons!

Hope you signed up for the hottest ticket in town because this year’s annual Solomon Valley Pheasants Forever Banquet is SOLD OUT! This eagerly-anticipated event is this Saturday, April 2nd at the St. Thomas Parish Center (804 Main Street) in Stockton, starting with the Social Hour at 5:00 p.m. A dinner will follow with many raffles, games, and live and silent auctions.

The Buckles & Boots Dinner & Show, presented by the Stockton High School Band and Choir, is set for Thursday, April 21st. And though it is a couple of weeks before the performance, the reservations for the meal are now being accepted until Thursday, April 7th. The meal, catered by The Daily Grind, will include brisket, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn/green beans, a roll, dessert and water/tea.
