In his final sermon of a series on the Attributes of God, Pastor Matt said, “God is holy.” So, what exactly is “holy”? In 1 Peter 3:15-16 we read, “But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God—who chose you to be his children— is holy. For He himself has said, ‘You must be holy because I am holy.’” If God himself tells us to be holy, then we should know exactly what that means.

Since the Sentinel has an earlier deadline, I am writing this late Thursday and am still elated from the 1.60 rainfall we received. Earlier in the day, we only had enough to wet the pavement.

The Hobart Homemakers FCE ladies met on August 26, 2024, at 7 p.m., at the Stockton Church of the Restoration. The meeting was called to order, and we recited the flag salute. The roll call was, 'What do you do to relieve stress? 'Seven members and two visitors answered. The minutes from the last meeting were read and approved.

The September 12th Sentinel will include our annual SHS Homecoming Feature, with individual pictures of the Tiger athletes (football, volleyball, and cross country), cheer, dance, and coaching staff, sponsored by local merchants, organizations, and individuals.
