Body If you plan to cast a ballot for the upcoming Primary Election on August 4, you must be registered to vote by Tuesday, July 14. Citizens who are not registered by this time will not be able to vote in the important primary.

Body On Tuesday, June 30th, Rooks County Commissioners John Ruder, Corky Hagan and Greg Balthazor met with the county department heads to discuss the 2021 budget and budget concerns due to COVID-19.

Body The Sentinel office will be short-staffed the week of our July 23 issue. Therefore, we are asking that copy for that issue be brought in or sent to us no later than Friday, July 17.

Body The menus for the week beginning Monday, July 13, are as follows: Monday—Little smokies, macaroni and cheese, Italian blend vegetables, bread, mandarin oranges. Tuesday—Hamburger patty with lettuce, tomato and onion, macaroni salad, bun, tropical fruit.
