A new Driver Education Reimbursement Grant Program has been established to provide financial assistance to driver’s education programs to help individuals who may not have been able to participate otherwise.

Even though we think of severe storms in the spring in Kansas, storms occur all year long. Right now hurricanes are hitting our southern states but their affects can be felt in Kansas too. What about those winter blizzards that seem to pop up out of nowhere? Are you prepared?

Steve and Stephanie Pfeifer of Stockton are excited to announce the birth of their grandson, Tanner Allen Pfeifer. Tanner was born August 6, 2020 and weighed 9 pounds, 8.4 ounces and was 21 inches long. Proud parents are Colton and Rachelle Pfeifer of Stockton.

The Kansas Department of Transportation began a resurfacing project on 16 miles of I-70 in Trego County on Monday, Aug. 31.

HEADING TO STOCKTON HIGH SCHOOL on the first day back after a very long summer break are Max Moffett, Jolee Sterling and Breckyn Williams. The only thing anyone knows for sure is that this school year is going to be different.

MAKING HER WAY INTO SCHOOL last Thursday was grade school student Amberleigh Jurgens. It was evident the children were excited to be back in the classroom with their fellow classmates and teachers. Here’s wishing them a great year!
