Condolences to the family of Wilbur Perry Cotton, age 99, who passed away August 4 at Medicalodges of Great Bend. He was born April 3, 1921, in Woodston, the son of Perry and Blanche (Dibble) Cotten. Wilbur graduated from Woodston High School in 1939.

Commissioners review 2021 county budget

The Rooks County Commissioners spent most of their morning session on Tuesday, August 4th reviewing the 2021 budget prior to the Public Hearing, which was scheduled for Tuesday, August 11th. They also reviewed and signed vouchers as presented by the clerk.
