The Crossroads Quilt Guild quilt this year had a special meaning to Joyce Schmitz, Stockton and Mary Roe, Olathe. The two ladies have been childhood friends since they were less than one year old, living three houses apart while growing up in Salina.

Sharon Russ of Colwich and Cody and Madi and Bayler Russ of Mt. Hope came to Stockton for Sharon’s grandson, Waylon Ghumm’s birthday party on December 11.

Stockton really lit up the town this holiday season with the many outdoor Christmas light displays, making it a real challenge to choose the top three for bragging rights throughout the coming year!
