LaDonna Rae Schnuerle, age 89, of Stockton, passed away on March 20, 2023, at the Rooks County Health Center.  She was born on September 13, 1933.   A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023, at 2:30 p.m., at Mount Hope Cemetery in Almena. There will be no public visitation.

Patrick Joseph “Pat” Schmidt, 75, of Alta Vista, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023. He was born March 20, 1947, in Plainville, the son of Fidelis and Albina (Hammerschmidt) Schmidt. Pat graduated from Plainville High School in 1965. On September 3, 1966, he was united in marriage to Linda J.

After a brief illness, Margaret Rozella Klema McKittrick, 94, of Manhattan, Kansas, died on March 15, 2023, at Bramlage House in Manhattan, Kansas, surrounded by family members. Marge, as she was known, was born April 19, 1928, in Wilson, Kansas, the daughter of James and Hattie Weinhold Klema.

Cleota Mae Dinkel, of Plainville, passed away on March 15, 2023, at Hays Medical Center in Hays at the age of 89. She was born on January 28, 1934, to Hector and Cecilia (Gagnon) Boucher in Zurich, Kansas. She married Gilbert F. Dinkel in Zurich on April 13, 1953.
