Body Bonnie (Gosser) Wyatt, of Plainville, passed away at the Rooks County Health Center on February 7, 2023. She was 91 years old. She was born on Memorial Day, May 30, 1931, in Hays, Kansas to Theodore and Foila (Joy) Gosser.

Body Tom Hamel of El Dorado, Kansas passed away on February 3, 2023, at the age of 83 after an extended illness.  He grew up in Zurich, Kansas, the youngest of three sons to Harry and Nona Hamel. 

Body Wayne Alan Kee, of Stockton, passed away on February 4, 2023, at Alliance Health in Woodward, Okla., at the age of 69. He was born on January 6, 1954, to James Warren and Willie Ruth (Wineinger) Kee in Beloit. He was married to Michele Lee McComb on August 19, 1972, in Stockton.

Body Glen Ray Cain, of Plainville, passed away on January 22, 2023, at the Redbud Village in Plainville, at the age of 73. He was born on February 20, 1949, to George and Ruby (Knust) Cain in Russell. He married Mary Ruth Thompson on June 21, 1986, in Plainville.

Body Virgil Elwood Sneath, age 89, of Quinter, passed away on January 30, 2023.  He was born in Kaneer, Kansas on November 29, 1933. He graduated from Geneseo High School and continued his education at a vocational school.

Body Jack Lee Burton, age 74, of Plainville, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023, at St. Frances Medical Center in Topeka. He was born in 1948, the son of Ronald and Luella “Bebe” Burton.

Body Hanna Elizabeth (Casad) Townley, age 40, Lincoln, Kansas, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2023, in Lincoln. She was born June 24, 1982, in Hays, Kansas, the daughter of Cheryl (Iwanski) Casad and Andrew Casad.

Body Verna Mae Mauck, age 93, of Stockton, Kansas passed away January 23, 2023 at the Rooks County Hospital in Plainville, Kansas. She was born May 27, 1929, at the family farm in rural Graham County, to Gerald and Ethel (Lohness) Scott.

Body Bonnie Louise Hance, of Stockton, passed away on January 22, 2023, at the age of 77. She was born on May 20, 1945, to Melvin and Marion (Rager) Maines in Niagara Falls, N.Y. She married Joseph Bennett and they later divorced. She later married the late Steven Hance.
