Body Fort Hays State University has released the names of 1,691 students who earned places on the Dean’s Honor Roll for the spring 2021 semester. The Dean’s Honor Roll includes undergraduate students only.

Power lines cause freak accident

Body Madison and Sierra Reed, and David Reed were heading home to Stockton from the Thomas County Speedway races on Saturday evening, June 19th, since they had been called off due to severe weather in the area.

THIS PHOTO shows how the power lines skimmed the top of the truck cab before slicing into the enclosed trailer carrying Madison’s racecar. The accident occurred on Saturday evening, June 19th during a severe thunderstorm with winds clocked at 80 mph.
