Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center (KLETC) Executive Director Darin Beck welcomed members of the Hays community and representatives of Kansas law enforcement on Friday, September 17, to celebrate the opening of the new KLETC regional site in Hays.

A two-vehicle accident in Ellsworth County which occurred just before 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 9, has claimed the life of former Plainville resident Lyle Dunning. Dunning, along with his wife, Nancy, were both injured in the accident, with Lyle passing away on September 15.

Before the regular meeting started for the Stockton City Commission on Tuesday, September 7th, the 2022 RNR and the 2022 Budget Hearings were held. The first was to allow the City to exceed the Revenue Neutral Rates set by the state.
