Body The Kansas Department of Commerce has awarded Rooks County Healthcare Foundation (RCHF) $200,000 in Community Service Program tax credits to help build another daycare center in Rooks County. The program provides a 70% tax credit to qualified donors in rural communities.

Body It's beginning to be the same story, umpteenth verse when reporting accidents within the county. Unsurprisingly, five of the seven accidents this week involve deer—three of which occurred just south of Webster Reservoir on 10 Road.

Body The Stockton area wheat harvest is finally in the books with a total of 345,000 bushels taken in at the Stockton Farmers Union Elevator (227,000) and the Woodston Coop (118,000).
