Chelsey Foerster following God’s path

Body Chelsey Foerster, the youth pastor at the River Valley Church in Stockton, was called to serve God when she was a teenager. “God put this path on my heart at a very young age,” she said.
CHELSEY FOERSTER recently went on a mission trip to the Amazon River in Brazil. The group she traveled with was Justice and Mercy International. During the weeklong mission, they held Bible teaching and Bible school for the children, made home visits to pray for families, and set up a trade store for the villagers.

Body 183 Lanes in Stockton will be open on Monday through Thursday (August 7th through August 10th) from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday during the Rooks County Free Fair week. There will be no bowling during the fair!

4-H and FFA Livestock Sale to be held Friday, August 11th

Body Come support the Rooks County youth at the 4-H and FFA Livestock Sale on Friday, August 11th. The event will be held at the Sutor-Blauer Arena at the Rooks County Fairgrounds. The Buyers’ Hospitality Hour will begin at 5:00 p.m. with the sale to start promptly at 6:00 p.m.

New task force and fentanyl enforcement efforts announced

Body TOPEKA – The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI), the Kansas Attorney General’s Office, the Kansas Highway Patrol (KHP), and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) announced a new collaborative initiative to combat fentanyl in Kansas called the Joint Fentanyl Impact Team (JFIT).

County holds short morning session

Body The Rooks County Commissioners met with health nurse Lori Eichman at the start of the meeting on Tuesday, July 18th. They presented her with a 30-year plaque for her service to the county before a ten-minute executive session was held to discuss non-elected personnel.

Motion Dance Company competes at Nationals

Body Group dancers bring home National awardsThe Motion Dance Company of Stockton was more than ready for Nationals in Minneapolis, Mn. after competing at Regionals this past May in Kansas City, Mo.
