I-70 closed between Oakley and Russell

The Kansas Department of Transportation has now closed both westbound and eastbound I-70 between Oakley and Russell because of blowing snow, reduced visibility, and crashes blocking the roadway. Westbound I-70 also remains closed at Goodland.

Open Houses set for this Sunday, January 21st

There are plenty of prizes donated by the area merchants for baby, mommy and daddy as everyone awaits the arrival of the Stockton Sentinel’s First Baby of 2024 Contest. When that little miss or mister arrives, the parents have four days to notify the Stockton Sentinel to claim the prizes.

Parade of Christmas Trees winners announced

The 39th annual Parade of Christmas Trees at the Stockton Public Library has come to a close with many creative trees on display this year. One hundred and sixty-one people signed the register and voted for their favorites throughout the month of December.
