Ring of Fire solar eclipse to pass over the United States this Saturday

Body
A Draconid meteor shower was at its peak across the skies during the evenings of October 6th through 10th. It was just an appetizer before the “ring of fire,” or annular solar eclipse, which will be in full glory, sweeping from Oregon to Texas on Saturday, October 14th. Sadly, the rest of the lower 48 states can only witness a partial eclipse. In Kansas, people will see a partial eclipse, which will look like a sickle-shaped or crescent-shaped sun, with people noticing a strange dimming during the daylight hours.
