Stockton runners do well at home XC meet

The Tiger Cross Country Team did well at their home meet held at Webster State Park last Thursday. Cheyenne Hoeting finished fifth, and Mia Odle was eighth in the women’s varsity race, while Chrissy Jurgens placed eighth in the JV race.

SHS Tigers fall to Osborne in football action last Friday

The Stockton Tigers faced a tough Osborne squad last Friday night in Osborne, and ended up falling 60-0 to drop to 0-2 on the season. For the next three weeks the Tigers will be on their home turf, hosting Trego, Hoxie and Rawlins County, respectively.

Stockton falls to Trego and Phillipsburg in volleyball

The Stockton Lady Tigers recorded their first two losses of the season last Tuesday, September 5, when they were defeated by Phillipsburg and Trego at a triangular in WaKeeney. Stockton fell to Phillipsburg in three sets, 25-19, 14-25, 20-25, and then lost to Trego 22-25, 20-25.

SHS Lady Tigers earn two more victories

The Stockton Lady Tigers improved their record to 4-0 on the season with a pair of wins over Tescott and Lincoln last Tuesday at Tiger Gymnasium. The Stockton girls had no trouble with their opponents, defeating Tescott 25-10, 25-8, and downing Lincoln 25-12, 25-8.

SHS Tigers score 18 points in loss to Logan/Palco

The Stockton Tigers put 18 points on the scoreboard against the Logan/ Palco Trojans last Friday night under the lights in Logan, but it wasn’t enough to pick up the win. The Tigers ended up falling in their season opener by the score of 48-18.
