The Rawlins County Buffaloes ran the opening kickoff back for the touchdown last Friday night at Tiger Stadium. That TD seemed to set the tone for the rest of the game, as the Stockton Tigers never really got on track, losing their Homecoming game by the score of 66-0.

Freshman Mia Odle placed fifth in the JV Beloit Cross Country Meet held last Thursday. The heat that day made it rough on the Tiger runners, but they are looking to come back strong this Thursday when they travel to Phillipsburg. Racing begins at 4:00 p.m.

Stockton High School received word recently it will be hosting one of eight Class 1A, Div. I Sub-State Volleyball Tournaments on Saturday, October 21.

The Stockton Lady Tigers split in their action at Northern Valley last Tuesday as they downed Lakeside, but fell to the Lady Huskies. In JV action, Stockton was defeated by Northern Valley 12-25, 18-25..

ON FRIDAY EVENING, SEPTEMBER 29TH, prior to the SHS Homecoming football game, Stockton USD 271 and Fort Hays State University had the honor of presenting the Athletic Director of the Year Award to Mr. Kyle Hull. This award is nominated and voted on by the athletic official’s organization at FHSU.
