This Thursday Stockton will be hosting junior high wrestling action in Tiger Gymnasium beginning at 4:00 p.m. Several teams will be competing on the mats, however, Chloe Kuhlmann is the lone wrestler for Stockton.

The Stockton Tigers competed in the Panther Classic last Saturday with three boys, Cameron Balthazor (132), Ryan Mongeau (285), and Tanner Post (285), participating. Both Balthazor and Mongeau went 1-2 on the day, but did not place. Post ended up placing third in the JV portion of the Classic.

The Stockton Tigers traveled to Lincoln last Tuesday for Northern Plains League basketball action. Stockton picked up a big win over the Lady Leopards, downing them 48-17, while the Tiger Boys were defeated 65-35.

She did it again! Stockton’s Ashlyn Hahn was named Outstanding Wrestler at the Rocky Welton Invitational hosted last Friday and Saturday by Garden City High School. Hahn, who wrestles at 130, won by falls in her first two rounds, but had to battle it out in the semifinals and finals, earning 3-0 decisions in each of those matches. Her victories came over girls from Great Bend, Liberal, Pine Creek, and Garden City. Hahn is now an impressive 30-0 on the season.
