Final Whistle!

TRAVIS SCHEELE OF SALINA officiated his last wrestling tournament as one of the lead officials at the 2025 KSHSAA 3-2-1A State Wrestling Championships held last weekend in Hays. Scheele, who is the husband of Stockton High School graduate Tina (Dix) Scheele, officiated the sport for a total of 30 years, which included 20+ high school state tournaments, and 10+ college national tournaments. In addition, Scheele was a football white hat (high school and college) for 20+ years, as well as a semi-pro baseball umpire for 20+ years. Congratulations, Travis!
