The 2025 Powerlifting season kicked off last Saturday, March 8, with the Tiger Powerlifters traveling to WaKeeney. Among the 300+ competitors at the meet, seven were from Stockton: Cason Iwanski, Dayton Carpenter, Garrison Mongeau, Kolt Kuhlmann, Rivver Long, Vincent Thayer and Zach Chandler.

The Kansas Wrestling Coaches Association (KWCA) has announced the high school senior wrestlers who have accepted their invitation to wrestle in the 2nd annual KWCA Kansas Shrine Duals. The KWCA Kansas Shrine Duals will be held on Saturday, March 29th, 2025, at Fugate Gymnasium on the campus of Newman University in Wichita.

Eight members of the Stockton Wrestling Club competed at Districts held last Friday and Saturday at Gross Memorial Coliseum in Hays. Three of those wrestlers, Jevin Rush (8U 58#), Treyvonn Clark (10U 90#) and Mia Odle (HS girls 135#), qualified for the Kansas’ Kid State Championships to be held at the Stormont Vail Events Center in Topeka is Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Four Stockton High School seniors have earned Northern Plains League All-League Honors following the 2024-25 basketball season. Brin Muir was named 2nd Team All League, Aubrey Kesler and Ava Dix were 3rd Team All League selections, and Jack Gasper was on the boys’ Honorable Mention Team.
