Sara Jane “Sally” Skinner, age 76, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2022 at her residence in Lakeside, Texas. Sara was born to William Robert Skinner and Frances Lucille Kieffer on November 28th, 1945. Her immediate family knew her as Sally or Sara, but to many others she was just “Mom.

Charles William “Bill” Campbell, Woodston, passed away on July 15, 2022, at the Rooks County Health Center in Plainville, KS, at the age of 85.

Charles Lee Welch passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022 at the Logan County Manor in Oakley, Kansas at the age of 72. He was born on February 28, 1950 to Arthur and Joan (White) Welch in Covington, Virginia. Charles grew up in Globe, Arizona and graduated from Globe High School in 1968.

Bonnie Jean McElroy passed away on June 29, 2022 at the age of 89 in Hutchinson, Kansas.

Thomas Kelly Hull passed away on June 26, 2022 in Downs, Kansas at the age of 79.

Former Woodston resident Thomas “Tom” K. Hull, 79, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2022 in Downs. Visitation will be Friday, July 8, 2022, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home in Stockton. Funeral Services will be Saturday, July 9, at 10:00 a.m.

Velma Mona Garvert passed into her heavenly home on June 25, 2022 at the Silverleaf Group Home in Plano, Texas at the age of 91. She was born on November 3, 1930 in Palco, Kansas to Frank and Elizabeth (Desmarteau) Marcotte.

Thomas “Ed” Brault Sr., age 75, passed away unexpectedly on June 13th, 2022, at Kidron Bethel Health Care Center, North Newton, Kansas. Ed was born on March 7th, 1947, to Eli E. and Josephine Brault.

Former Hays resident, Eunice Agnes Hamel, age 87, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2022, at her home in Russell, Kansas. She was born May 29, 1935, in Damar, Kansas, to Armond Ernest and Ruby Amanda (Thibault) Newell. She married Robert Wilford Hamel on September 13, 1953, at Damar.
