Robert (Bob) Lee McClellan passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022 in Wichita, Kansas.

He was born on August 28, 1929 in a farmhouse north of Zurich, Kansas to Arthur Lee (Lee) and Meda Velma (Velma Pywell) McClellan.  

Bob grew up on the farm and graduated from Palco High School with the Class of 1946. He went on to receive his Bachelor’s Degree from Fort Hays State College with a major in Mathematics. On June 20, 1953, he married Jo Eva Hinkhouse in Palco. They were blessed with four children, Susan, Robin, Mike, and Roger.

Paul D. Berkley, age 91, formerly of Downs, passed away March 6, 2022.

He was born October 5, 1930, on a farm near Tescott, the son of H.J. and Paulina (Boller) Berkley.

He was a retired banker and lawyer.

He is preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn in 2015; three brothers, Robert Berkley, Jack Berkley, and Jerry Berkley; and sister, Arliene Matthews.

Evelyn Ada “Bum” Goll, age 97, of Phillipsburg, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022, at her daughter and son-in-law’s home in Phillipsburg.

She was born on July 27, 1924, to William “Mackie” and Jessie (Christoffersen) Madison in Phillips County, Kansas. Her formative years were in Pudville where she attended the Gooder School and got her nickname Bum. Evelyn graduated from Kensington High School with the Class of 1944. Bum attended her 75th Class Reunion in 2019 where she was the oldest Goldbug in attendance.

Former Palco resident, Robert "Bob" McClellan, Wichita, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022 at the Peace of Mind  Home in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 92.

Juanita (Richards) Andregg, age 87, of Hoxie, Kansas went home to be with her loving Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 27, 2022.

She was born September 28, 1934, on a farm north of Studley, Kansas to Ben and Nellie (Rogers) Richards. Juanita was the youngest of three children.

James Raymond “Mick” McVey, age 98, died February 23, 2022, in Lindsborg, Kansas.

Kim “Jay” Ayers, passed away February 25, 2022 at the age of 67 in his home in Palco, Kansas.

He was born on September 5, 1954 in Colby, Kansas to William Carson Ayers and his wife Thelma Katherine (Rose) Ayers.

Freddy "Fred" Valdez, age 61, of Plainville, Kansas, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022, at Redbud Village Nursing Care in Plainville. 

Services are pending with Brock's-Keithley Funeral Chapel and Crematory.

Normand Lee Hrabe, Stockton, passed away on February 26, 2022, at the Rooks County Health Center in Plainville, at the age of 94.

He was born on March 20, 1927, at home in Twin Mound Township, Rooks County, Kansas, to Frank G., Jr. and Laura (Kopsa) Hrabe. Normand married Zoe E. Schindler on August 8, 1954, in Stockton. They were blessed with a son, Kenneth, and a daughter, Tammy.

Norris Cole, age 70, of Hays, passed away Friday, February 25, 2022, at Redbud Village Nursing Care in Plainville, Kansas.

He was born February 14, 1952, in Norton, Kansas, to Neale and Shirley (Glass) Cole. He graduated from Hays High in 1970. On February 10, 1971, he married Darlene B. Venneberg in Hays.
