Evelyn Marie Werth, age 97, residing at The Piper, Kansas City, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2022, in Kansas City.  She was born August 2, 1925, to Adam B. and Susie G. (Adam) Garvert. She married Edwin W. Werth on Aug. 30, 1950, in Plainville, Kansas.

Rodney “Rod” Blickenstaff passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at Smith Center Health and Rehab in Smith Center, Kansas, at the age of 65. He was born April 29, 1957 to Lowell and Ardyus (Lambert) Blickenstaff.

Joanne Marie Barton, 84, Hays, died Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Via Christi Village surrounded by family.

Augustine “Francis” VonFeldt passed away on October 10, 2022, in the Anthology of Olathe Assisted Living in Olathe, Kansas at the age of 90. He was born on November 13, 1931, to August and Celestine (Kinderknecht) VonFeldt in Gorham, Kansas.

Stephen V. Bond, age 79, passed away October 8 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Lawrence, Kan. He was born in Salina, Kan., on October 18, 1942, the only child of Paul and Aileen (Patterson) Bond.

David Lee Rogers, age 76, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Mo., from complications of Parkinson’s Disease. His family was by his side with the Chaplain praying over him. David was born on April 16, 1946, in Denver, Colo.

Georgiana Magdalen Herrman, age 84, passed away October 8, 2022, at Lamar Court Assisted Living, Overland Park. She was born on February 2, 1938, in rural Rush County, Kansas, to Isidore and Albertina (Legleiter) Herrman. She married Francis A. Herrman on August 24, 1956, at Liebenthal.

Sandra Elaine Hubbard, age 66, of Salina, Kansas went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 4, 2022. Sandra was born on June 14, 1956 in Hays, Kansas to Vernell Arends and Norma Pauline Ives. Sandra was lovingly raised by her grandparents Harold and Hilma (Fisher) Ives.

Heaven has claimed the life of Joy C. Johnson of Manhattan, Kansas. She was 83 years old and died peacefully on October 4, 2022, at Meadowlark Hills. She fought a battle with cancer for the last year. Joy was born on May 1, 1939 in Plainville, Kansas to Louis and Opal Hrabe.

Our father John Henry Schruben passed away peacefully at a hospice in Maryland on Sept. 30, 2022. He was 96 years old, and the last of his generation in our large family.
