Scott Lee Redmon, age 68, passed away on October 2, 2022, in Oberlin, KS with his family by his side.

He was born on February 5, 1954, in Greeley, Colo., to Melvin and Imogene (Green) Redmon.

Scott grew up in Greeley and Thornton, Colo., and in 1973 he graduated from Thornton High School. On May 25, 1974, Scott married Carol Groves in Loveland, Colo. He had several occupations and did a little bit of everything but really enjoyed farming. But most of all he loved to be with his family, go fishing, and listen and playing lots of music—especially the guitar.

Scott is survived by his wife, Carol Redmon of Oberlin; daughters: Crystal (Ted) Stapleton of Stockton and Melissa (Ronald Sporing) Mayden of Colby; grandchildren: Makaila (Brandon) Kats of Prairie View, Lane Stapleton of Stockton, Taylor (Chyenne) Mayden of Gothenburg, Neb., and Brendan Mayden of Hays; great-grandsons: Jace Kats and Jaxon Harvey; a sister, KayLee (Greg) Mendonca of Columbus, Ohio.

He was preceded by his parents, grandson: Ty Scott Redmon-Stapleton; and sister: DeeAnn Beard.

The family has chosen cremation and services will be held at a later date.
