Gerald D. Nuss, 86, WaKeeney, died Friday, June 5, 2026, at Trego County Lemke Memorial Hospital Long Term Care.He was born June 17, 1939, in Russell, the son of Elizabeth Nuss. Gerald served in the U.S. Army and was an oilfield roughneck, working for many years at Randy’s Well Service.

Brian L. Moos, 68, of Plainville, passed away peacefully at his home on June 3, 2026.He was born on July 20, 1957, in Plainville to Harry and Alice (Desbien) Moos.Brian married the love of his life, Lisa Pywell, on April 20, 1985, and together built a life centered around family.
