Ronna Lou (Groom) Hockett Simpson, 83, of Plainville, passed away on July 4, 2026, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. She was born on March 26, 1943, in Plainville, Kansas, to Perry and Althea (Collins) Groom. Ronna graduated from Codell Community High School with the class of 1962. 

Shirley Ann Faber, age 89, of Clare, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, July 5, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.On November 26, 1936, Shirley was born to Al and Dorothy (Tillman) Cashen in Beal City.

Rita M. Smith, age 87, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026, at her home in Hays.She was born on August 19, 1938, in Hays, Kansas, to Alois and Barbara (Dinkel) Denning.She met and married Charles Werth in 1958. They were later divorced.

Cecelia Anette (Post) Anissy, 77, formerly of Plainville, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026, at NorthCare Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri.She was born on November 28, 1948, in Russell, Kansas, to Doyle and Lauretta (Weldon) Post.
