Joyce Margaret (Howe) Thompson, 93, of Paradise, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, with her family by her side.She was born August 25, 1933, at the family home southwest of Paradise. She was one of four children born to James D. and Lillian G. (Steventon) Howe.

Pamela “Pam” L. Vonfeldt, 67, of Andover, Kansas, and formerly of Plainville, Kansas, passed away on October 2, 2026, at Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita, Kansas.She was born on July 23, 1959, in Hays, Kansas, to H. Wayne and B. Lynn (Amos) Carmichael.

Ethan Wade Dickerson, 26, of Paradise, passed away Monday, September 28, 2026, in an automobile accident south of Paradise.He was born June 21, 2000, in Hays, Kansas, to David L. and Stephanie B. (Stielow) Dickerson.

Florine C. Kisner,  88, of Pfeifer, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at Via Christi Care Center in Hays.She was born on January 5, 1938, in Pfeifer, Kansas, to Stephen and Anna Marie (Dome) Kisner.She worked in the garden center and as a cashier at Wal-Mart in Hays for 32 years.

Kathern Louise Applegate, 72, of Plainville, passed away at her home on September 26, 2026.She was born on October 25, 1953, in Omak, Washington, to Calvin Harold and Phyllis Lenore (Cline) Farwell.Kathern married Earl Hankins on January 2, 1971, and they later divorced.

Roger Dunning, 92, passed away Monday, September 14, 2026, in Atchison, Kansas, to join his heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ.He was born May 3, 1934, in Webster, Kansas, to parents Warren E. Dunning and Neva Bray Dunning. He attended school in Stockton, Kansas, and graduated in 1952.
